Westside (South)
The Westside of Albuquerque is generally defined as everything to the west of the Rio Grande River (excluding the river valley itself). Especially to the far west and north, it is one of the newest areas in development terms. The houses here range from simple single family dwellings to expansive luxury homes with scenic overlooks and views of the whole city. The Westside boasts extensive shopping options throughout and is home to the Cottonwood Mall and business district which houses hundreds of shops and restaurants.
